Responsible for official contacts and business cooperation between the PBC and the international financial organizations, foreign central banks, and financial authorities in Hong Kong and Macao SARs and Taiwan province; coordinating opening of the domestic financial industry in accordance with the commitments made by the Chinese government when joining the WTO; undertaking foreign affairs of the PBC; and supervising operations of the PBC foreign offices.
