On October 12, 2018, Governor Yi Gang met with Governor Daniyar Akishev of National Bank of Kazakhstan. They had discussions on issues including bilateral domestic currency trade and investment settlement, and domestic currency settlement within the framework of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
