On December 15th, 2017，People’s Bank of China and Bank of England co-hosted the Inaugural Joint Research Symposium in Beijing. Both sides exchanged views on Green Finance and Macro-prudential Frameworks. Governor Zhou Xiaochuan and Deputy Governor Chen Yulu of People’s Bank of China, Governor Mark Carney of Bank of England and CEO Andrew Bailey of Financial Conduct Authority attended the Symposium and delivered remarks. Representatives from other financial regulators, market institutions of both countries and international organizations were also getting involved in the discussion.
