On December 21, 2023, Pan Gongsheng, PBOC Governor, met with Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and exchanged views with him on issues of mutual concerns, such as the connectivity of the financial markets of Mainland and Hong Kong, the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Fintech cooperation. Xuan Changneng, Deputy Governor of PBOC, also attended the meeting.
