On December 19, 2024, Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), met with Dr. Kelvin Wong, Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and Ms. Julia Leung, CEO of the SFC. They exchanged views on supporting the stability and prosperity of Hong Kong’s financial market, as well as consolidating and enhancing Hong Kong’s role as an international financial center.
