On May 21, 2024, Mr. Pan Gongsheng, PBOC Governor, met with Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput, Governor of the Bank of Thailand (BOT). They exchanged views on bilateral financial cooperation as well as other topics. After the meeting, the two Governors signed the Memorandum of Understanding on a Framework for Cooperation to Promote Bilateral Transactions in Local Currencies.
