On May 21, 2024, Dr. Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) met with Mr. Agustín Carstens, General Manager of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). They exchanged views on cooperation between the PBOC and the BIS, global economy, Chinese economy and financial stability, and other issues of mutual interest. Deputy Governor Xuan Changneng participated in the meeting.
