Recently, Brazil, the rotating presidency of the Group of 20 (G20), hosted the first G20 Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting during its tenure in Brasilia. Mr. Xuan Changneng, Deputy Governor of the PBOC, attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on the theme of "Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet" and discussed the work plan for the main issues under the G20 financial channel in 2024, including promoting economic development, improving the international financial framework, developing sustainable finance, maintaining financial stability, promoting infrastructure investment, and implementing international tax reforms.
During the meeting, Mr. Xuan Changneng, Deputy Governor of the PBOC had bilateral meetings with finance and central bank deputies of some countries, exchanging views on economic and financial issues of common concern.
